How to Write an Authorization Letter for Your Representative?
Write an authorization letter. With our busy schedules, lots of commitments and urgent matters to attend to, sometimes it is inevitable to miss our appointments. But why let it happen? Just get represented and let your representative do your transactions on your behalf. That’s the role of an authorization letter. Getting others authorized to do things for you, provided you have valid reasons for your absence and you provide them with all the required and supporting documents like valid government IDs. Your represented should also bring a valid ID or two for identification purposes.
Not all transactions allow being represented especially if there are processes involved that needs one’s presence i.e. biometrics and photo capturing. That’s why before thinking of getting represented, think of the processes involved to avoid wasting your representative’s time.
This sample of authorization letter is for claiming of a renewed NBI clearance that is applied online. Unlike the application for NEW NBI Clearance, photo capture and biometrics are not needed anymore for NBI Clearance RENEWAL. This authorization letter format can also be used for other transactions like claiming Birth Certificate, bank transactions etc.
You can copy the sample authorization letter below and just modify the important parts. Take note, this is a legal letter and ideal to be typewritten instead of being handwritten.
